The effectiveness of EAF’s approaches is proven in our student performance—with an 89% graduation rate across Eagle Academies, our outcomes far outpace the 59% across America for young Black men. In recent years, 100% of Eagle graduates have been accepted to college. Our alumni network now has close to 2,700 young men of color on a variety of career paths.
Moreover, since 2016, EAF has trained educators on how to support the academic achievement and socio-emotional flourishing of Black and Latino male students. To date, we have trained over 1,000 school leaders in 65 cities, positively impacting over 29,000 students nationwide while also remaining committed to our work in New York City.

“What I liked most about Eagle was how everyone treats each other like brothers. It taught me to know that we are all brothers.”
“I think Eagle Academies are important because they show brotherhood and they teach with compassion.”
“If it were not for Mr. Harris I would never have become an Ambassador at Eagle Academy. Because of this, I am so grateful for the Eagle Academy Foundation.”
“My favorite memory from the Eagle Academy is playing football in the gym. I think of it often because it reminds me that I still got it.”
“Going to an Eagle Academy taught me that we might not come from the same family but we are all brothers.”
