The Eagle Academy Foundation

Transforming Lives and Building Pathways to Success for Young Men of Color

Our track record speaks for itself–98% of our graduates are accepted to college, and 100% graduate with a post-secondary plan that’s best suited for each individual student.

Eagle Academy Foundation (EAF)

The Eagle Academy Foundation (EAF) is a rare beacon of hope and opportunity for young men of color. Since our founding in 2004, we have evolved from addressing an education crisis in New York City to becoming a national leader committed to transforming lives and creating an “ecosystem of success” for young men of color from underinvested and marginalized communities across the country.

To launch our 20th anniversary, we’re launching the “Taking Flight” campaign–a $10 million initiative to double our impact over the next three years by reaching an additional 50,000 young men of color.

Through this campaign, we will:

  • Train an additional 1,500 educators, employers, and service providers across the country
  • Expand our college access and workforce readiness programming in New York City, Newark, and beyond, ensuring more young men of color are aware of and prepared for the many pathways to achieving their dreams
  • Increase our staffing capacity to support national programs, the Eagle Institute and Eagles Soaring Beyond
  • Strengthen our technology platforms to expand training capacity

Here’s how you can take flight with us in building a brighter future for young men of color:

  • Make a meaningful gift or pledge payable over several years
  • Ask your employer to match your gift
  • Make a legacy gift by including EAF in your estate plans
  • Hold a fundraising event on our behalf
  • Spread the word about us, to friends, family, colleagues, and via social media

Additional EAF Campaign Resources

Your investment in our 20th anniversary campaign, over and above annual giving, will pay dividends now and in years to come. Together, we can ensure that EAF has the resources necessary to continue transforming the lives of young men of color, offering hope, opportunity, and pathways to success.
